Today we warmly welcome back the Reverend John Mash, who is presiding and preaching at both services.  The Rector is taking a few days off as his post-Christmas break.

…A Rocha…
It was wonderful to welcome David Anderson as our preacher recently.  He is the Director of A Rocha (Canada)’s Brooksdale Environmental centre, one of our latest parish partnerships.  We have two books in the parish library by Peter Harris, the founder of this amazing world-wide organization, as well as a number of other books and DVD’s on environmental stewardship.  Do make use of these. 

A ROCHA NEWS
Attention all potential A Rocha volunteers!  The first volunteer day of the new year will be Sat., February 11th from 10am to 12:30 followed by a tour and free hot lunch.  For information or to sign up call 604-542-9022 or go to their website, www.arocha.ca;  maybe even sign up for monthly newsletters with interesting articles and information on upcoming events.  Be sure to look for the recipe for Ute's fabulous Creamy Lentil soup - a real winner!
